    Took some to eliminate the vibration sounds from the fans. new fans, same thing. put extra gasket pading between fans and stove, fixed.
    Biggest complaint is, I've had to replace the igniter almost every year. $100+shpping a pop, doing it myself. Not a real easy job, but doable. Turning down the heat output to medium seemed to help as I got two years out of this last igniter. I've had my stove since 2002.
    I does heat well, when it's running, with about a bag a day. my suggestion is you keep an igniter in stock so you don't have to wait for one to come by mail.

    Hello

    Avalon addressed the igniter issue by reducing the wattage from 250 to 200 watts. I have that igniter for 2 years and no problem!
